Yoga for Every Body


Darragh teaches a Hatha style of yoga that can be as dynamic as some of the more vibrant styles, yet gentle on the body.  Classes are designed to be multi-level and no experience is necessary.  The focus in each class is to help students become aware of the breath and finding one's own sense of self in each posture. Correct alignment and balance of energy moving through the body in each pose are emphasized.  Classes begin with guided centering and end with guided relaxation.

​​Weekend or week-long Yoga retreats are offered occasionally as an opportunity to more fully explore various aspects of the 8-limbed path of yoga and to deepen one's personal practice.

All morning classes are presently being conducted ONLINE

​*The Wednesday evening class is held at The Island Club on Sullivan's Island.

Why Yoga?

It is well demonstrated that the regular practice of yoga can reduce stress, improve flexibility and increase strength and balance.  Other benefits of a regular practice can include pain relief, weight management and improved circulation. Above all, the practice of yoga connects us with the present moment.  The meditative effects of a consistent yoga practice may help many cultivate a much needed inner peace.
